Clear Creek County is nestled within the foothills of the Colorado Rockies. We are approximately 30 miles west of Denver along the I-70 corridor.
We have three elementary schools. Georgetown Community School, a charter school is located in Historic Georgetown. Carlson Elementary School is in the heart of downtown Idaho Springs. King-Murphy Elementary School is located in majestic Evergreen.
The Clear Creek High School and Clear Creek Middle School are located in a peaceful mountain setting at the top of Floyd Hill in Evergreen. While they share a building, each school has a unique identity. CCHS and CCMS offer a extensive variety of athletic and extra-curricular activities. Students may participate in middle school activities as early as 5th grade.
Our district's number-one priority is providing an inspiring, challenging and well-rounded education for our students.
We are committed to student achievement and focus on offering an education that includes traditional academic subjects, enhanced by excellence in creative arts, athletics, vocation, physical, social and emotional learning.
