We will educate and inspire all learners in a safe and challenging academic environment to go forth and share the best they have to offer to the world.

Welcome to a new semester and a new year! Our theme for 2012 is "raising the bar." While we continue to work hard to enhance our academic offerings, we also recognize the importance of our sports and arts programs as crucial to a well rounded, high quality educational experience. As we move forward, we ask our teachers and coaches to maintain high standards, our students to strive to reach their highest potential, and our parents to stay involved. Visit the parent portal, encourage your students to succeed and please come to the schools' sports events, musical programs and plays.
Let's build a strong community together.

DID YOU KNOW...
That as a result of a lower interest rate on the School District's $13.93 million in bonds, taxpayers will see a  savings of more than one million dollars over the next eight years. Stifel Nicolaus & Co., a brokerage and investment banking firm, recently underwrote the district's general obligation refunding bonds in part because Standard & Poor's increased the district's rating from A+ to AA-. The new and better rating came about due to a variety of factors including the district's slowly increasing enrollment and the mill levy override approved by voters, which is helping the district generate an additional $775,000 per year. "This was an opportunity for the school district to pay back our taxpayers for their generosity in helping pass the mill levy," said Superintendent Jeff Miller. "We are extremely grateful. It is going to continue to allow us to expand some of our programs, to ensure academic excellence in all of our schools, and in a small way, repay our taxpayers." The bonds were created from expenses over the years including the building of the current middle/high school and various technology improvements, according to board president Peter Monson. "This was a favorable time period to be issuing these bonds," Monson said. "And between the improved credit rating and the timing, we were able to save the taxpayers over a million dollars."  Monson said while other districts in the state are struggling, Clear Creek is in a strong position because district voters approved the mill levy tax increase in November 2010.  "That demonstrated taxpayers commitment to education in this county and made investors even more confident in our ability to repay the bonds," Monson said.
